FREE HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES PROGRAMME FOR 10–16-YEAR-OLD CHILDREN

Bidgley Power Foundation (Aston) in collaboration with the StreetGames UK has planned to launch a free holiday activity programme for the benefit of children aged between 8-16 years. The key aspects of the programme are as follows.

Venue- Aston Pavilion, Aston Park, Trinity Road, Aston, B6 6JD

Dates- from August 2nd 2021 to 28th August 2021

Activities for 8 to 12-year-olds

Outdoor games, football coaching, arts, crafts, treasure hunt, and storytelling drama

Activities for 13 to 16-year-olds

Outdoor games, carnival games, multi-sports, interactive games, Cartoon Guess, ud-tap and,any more exciting games

AIMS OF THE PROGRAMME

As a result of this programme, we want children who attend this provision to:

be more active during the school holidays
take part in engaging and enriching activities which support the development of resilience, character and wellbeing along with their wider educational attainment
be safe and not to be socially isolated
have a greater knowledge of health and nutrition
be more engaged with school and other local services
eat more healthily over the school holidays
Have the opportunity to continue participating in sport and physical activities beyond the holidays
